PPTA Te Wehengarua Te Reo a Rohe Taskforce?
Seeking expressions of interest from members who would like to fill vacancies on the Te Reo a Rohe taskforce. This is a two-year term – 2 Pepuere 2026 tae noa ki te 1 Pepuere 2028.
HE AHA TE MAHI Ō TE REO A ROHE TASKFORCE?
Te Reo a Rohe Taskforce comprises of eight members tasked with the development and leadership of the Te Reo a Rohe role.

Te Reo A Rohe are regional PPTA office holders who link Māori members (in the regions) to the national Māori Executive; Te Huarahi Māori Motuhake.

Connect with Māori members and report back to Te Huarahi and Kaihautū Māori.

Organise the role development of Te Reo a Rohe through kaupapa Māori initiatives/ events.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BE A TE REO A ROHE TASKFORCE REPRESENTATIVE?

Must already be a Te Reo a Rohe delegate.

Is chosen annually by those members in the region who are on the PPTA Māori electoral roll.

Connects with Māori membership and establishes appropriate lines of communication.

To be able to get release from your school to attend meetings for Te Reo a Rohe Taskforce.

Promotes Māori education and furthers the interests of kaiako Māori students and parents.

Liaises with Kaihautū Māori and Te Huarahi Māori Motuhake
